Notarising UK tax documents for Greek National
A Greek doctor, working in the NHS in the UK came to see me in relation to issues he had with the tax authorities in Greece. He needed his UK tax documents to be notarised and apostilled to send to the Greek tax authorities. As a Greek living and working in the UK, my client had to confirm he was paying tax in the UK, and was therefore exempt from paying tax in Greece. I certified copies of his P60 and also a certificate of residence for tax purposes that he had received from the HMRC and I also arranged to have the documents apostilled by the FCO. The result was that he did not have to pay tax in Greece as well as the UK.
